With the film industry on its way to recovery, there’s plenty to celebrate in film and TV - and we’ve still had plenty of time to watch this year’s new releases (and, in many cases, more accessibility via virtual releases, too).

The Emmys took place in September without too many technological fails, and the major awards contender films have had their splashy premieres. While last year’s awards season was protracted (and largely virtual) because of the pandemic, the 2021-22 season is already off to an encouraging start.
